Sharon Scott Designer Profile

Sharon started her career in horticulture in 1992 as a gardener for Gonville & Caius College, Cambridge. From there she developed her passion for horticulture and garden design and attended the Berkshire Agricultural College, where she obtained a distinction in Garden Design. In 1999 Sharon entered a garden for the Chelsea Flower Show where she obtained a "Silver Gilt" award. Sharon has also taken part in Channel 4's "The Great Garden Challenge" competition to design a garden and build it in 3 days. 2008 saw the launch of “Living Balconies”, a new balcony design service, where she installed a sleek and contemporary balcony design for the show apartment of the multi-million pound Eden Development in High Wycombe.

Sharon has extensive experience in both the domestic and commercial sector and design commissions have included gardens for a major national house builder, an Oxfordshire property developer, a number of commercial head-offices, a national gardening magazine, the Daily Mail and many residential gardens ranging from small townhouse gardens to large country residences.

Sharon prides herself on being an individual designer and has specific qualities in interpreting her clients’ needs and requirements, giving each garden design a unique twist of individuality, design flair and creativity.
