A garden should take you on a journey throughout the year, in that every season should bring with it its surprises and its visual delights. A garden should be a thing of beauty but it also has to be something that is conventional and has to be lived in and lived with on a daily basis. Aesthetics and practical requirements need to form a bond together in order for the garden to be a true success.
